Building a culture of togetherness
On Christmas Eve this year, we gathered with family and made delicious pie creations (and fun memories) together. Our first ever Tarts & Crafts pie party (just tarts, no crafts).
We even had some teens willingly participate (now that’s a miracle in itself). Once they saw they could each have their own little apple pie they were all in.
Fun+Deliciousness=Success
Based on our instruction, each person made their own crust. Then we worked together as a team to slice up the fruit. When we were done, each person carefully took a moment to individualize their crust with their initials.
Every. Single. Crust – was flaky and buttery, (no soggy bottoms here) thanks to the cute little cast iron pans we used. The apples were spiced and cooked to bubbling brown sugary perfection.
The bakers were so excited for everyone else (there were nearly 40 people for dessert) to taste their work. What a sweet reward!
Get in on the fun!
If you want to try it it out, this is the crust recipe and apple pie recipe we used.

Seems like the tart was the craft 😚
And they were delicious!
